EIC Organizing Team
- The German Iaido Federation (DIaiB) is happy to apply for the 30th European Iaido Championship 2023 in Munich.
- Through a cooperative agreement with the Association of DKenB the DIaiB is responsible for the care of iaido in Germany according to the requirements of the EKF, FIK and ZNKR.
- In the past the DIaiB hosted the EIC 1997 in Hamburg and 2015 in Berlin and now it is time to send out invitation to the EKF community for the 3rd time to host the EIC 2023.
- The DIaiB has many years of experience with the organization of training courses and championships with the help of 3 Nanadan Senseis and 8 Rokudan Senseis in country.
- Regulary the DIaiB does held 1 international summer seminar, 2 national seminars, 1 national taikai every year and 1 referee seminar plus 1 judge seminar every second year.
- The intention is to make the EIC 2023 an event of international communication. Besite the seminar and competition we have to come together and communicate within our international community these days. Therefore we need to come together at one place all together to learn together, compete together but as well talk together and dance and drink together.
- The place for the 30th EIC 2023 will be a Sports Center at Oberhaching close to Munich with event hall, accommodation and restaurant all at one place.
